I began my journey as A Travel Agent / Destination Specialist with Avoya Travel network on July 5th of this year. After having done my research and moving from one host to another and from behind the scenes with ALG,... I realized Avoya was the better choice, because they provide leads ($$$) (maybe not all good leads), but at least they are honest about it. During the training they explain the percentage of good leads and bad leads. Since I started.... I've slowly followed through with all the clients based on the training provided from the very beginning to the Early Success training. I highly suggest, "Don't ever stop training!" Everything is easy to find and the support desk is pretty quick to answer questions when your lost. Having a one-on-one is easy enough, just email and someone will take time to help. Most of the job is about reading. Lots of reading.
Everyone I've spoken with has been easy to get along with, and though there are not classes where there is a teacher and the students in a webinar (which I'm very used to and it worked to have the connection to the community I was working with) it's actually a good thing. They do have webinar meetings where we do gather and are being taught, but they are timed and your questions are answered... and if not, just email someone and they reach back as quickly as possible.
I've already booked $70,000+ Gross in 6 months, and my current year commission is over $3,000+. That's pretty good in my eyes for booking 8 customers out of the 37 I've been trying to work with. Unfortunately at times, you do have to let go of a client because there is nothing you can do to match their unrealistic budget. That's OK! Trust me!
If your interested in joining Avoya, just understand your NOT alone. There is always help and taking leads is a quick way to make a bit of cash.
I do highly suggest getting out into your community and making yourself known. It's your community that is going to remain loyal to you, their Travel Specialist.

I have been with Avoya Travel for over 6 years, but in travel over 16 years. Hosting with Avoya is the best decision that I have made. When I was going it alone (without Avoya), I found out that the hardest item to overcome was to obtain clients. You could spend a lot of time, money, and effort in advertising and you still would not be very fortunate in obtaining leads. However, Avoya solves that for you with their marketing, and obtaining clients for you. I can not think of another host agency that provides the marketing, training, support that Avoya provides its independent agents. Thank you Avoya!!!!!

I love being in the travel industry! I am officially retired, but work with Avoya selling travel to make extra income. It's perfect for me. Don't have to leave the house and doing what I love. Avoya does an amazing job keeping the agents supported. Technology is up to date and the staff is great! Leadership is extremely transparent. This is key in my opinion.
The two most important reasons that I joined Avoya Travel, stayed with them, and highly recommend them to everyone are the Live Leads program and their outstanding support. The Live Leads program has allowed to 100% of my time selling travel and maintaining my agency. I do not have to do any marketing on my own. In addition, Avoya's support system is fantastic. The staff is available to answer my questions and has helped me correct my mistakes.
